LONG BOAT KEY PROJECT

Tropical Pools has undertaken a project of epic proportions that every pool contractor said could not be done!

Obstacles that have proved changeling thus far:

Existing pool removal
High water tables due to proximity to the open sea.
Running a diesel pump 24/7 to remove ground water from the dig to eliminate hydrostatic pressure preventing the new shell from “floating”.
Engineering plans and logistics that consider all the removal of the existing pool, plumbing and equipment as well as reinstalling everything to meet current code requirements.

These are just a few of the difficulties we have overcome, many tasks lay ahead of us… so stay tuned for updates as we continue this project to completion.

Ralph started building Pools in 2002. At the time, he was one of the smallest pool builders in the area. However, over time, he went from building 50 pools a year to 250 a year. With more than 25 years of experience, our key staff members have been doing this all of their lives. Our reputable, locally and family-owned company does not have a high turnover rate, so most of our employees have been with us for a while—we know who we send to your house well.
