Built on Experience. Driven by Quality.

Since 2001, Tropical Pools FL LLC has been helping Southwest Florida homeowners turn their backyards into places where families gather, relax, and make memories.

The company was founded by Ralph Dicarlo with a straightforward goal: provide local homeowners with a better option for swimming pool construction—one built on quality workmanship, fair pricing, dependable service, and doing what you say you’re going to do. That philosophy became the foundation of Tropical Pools and continues to guide the way we do business today.

Now celebrating 25 years in business, Tropical Pools has grown from a small local company into an established Southwest Florida pool builder with thousands of pools, spas, and outdoor spaces completed throughout the region. While the company has grown, the principles behind it have remained the same: build it right, communicate honestly, and never sacrifice quality for speed.

Local Experience Matters

Building a swimming pool in Southwest Florida is about much more than choosing a shape and finish. Every property is different, and factors such as elevation, drainage, access, permitting, engineering, utilities, and site conditions can all affect the design and construction process.

After 25 years of building in this area, our team understands those challenges. That local experience allows us to look beyond the drawing and consider how a pool will actually work with your property, your home, and the way you plan to use your outdoor space.

That is also why we believe the process should begin with a free on-site consultation. Seeing the property firsthand gives us the opportunity to understand your vision, identify important site considerations, and develop a design that makes sense before construction begins.

A Personal Approach to Pool Building

We know a swimming pool is a major investment. Our goal is to make the experience as clear and straightforward as possible from the beginning.

Our team works closely with homeowners through design, planning, permitting, construction, and pool startup. With personalized 3D design, quality equipment, experienced construction professionals, and hands-on attention throughout the process, we focus on building a pool that fits both your property and your lifestyle.

Just as importantly, we believe homeowners deserve clear communication and realistic expectations. We would rather take the time to do something correctly than rush a project simply to meet an aggressive timeline.

Built Right. Built Local. Built to Last.

Twenty-five years in business means something to us.

It represents thousands of projects, changing technologies, Florida storms, evolving building requirements, and—most importantly—homeowners who have trusted Tropical Pools with one of the largest improvements they will make to their homes.

We are proud of the history Ralph began in 2001 and equally excited about what comes next.

As Tropical Pools FL LLC enters its next chapter, our commitment remains the same:

Build quality pools. Treat customers fairly. Stand behind our work. And continue serving the Southwest Florida community we call home.
